Boot 2023

News from the Boot Fair

Many thanks to all who visit us at our booth at the boat. On Sunday we had a visit from NTV. A reporter was even with us in the diving tower and tried her hand at cutting nets.

Rügen 2022

The year is already more than half over. Here is a short review.

In May we were on the island of Rügen and were very successful in recovering nets. With a group of 30 people and a total of 4 boats we were active for two days off Rügen. The result was 300kg (dry net), which we could recover.

Report to the Ghostnet recovery in the Baltic Sea of Rügen by Ariane Thiele

At the weekend from the 28th April to the 1st May 2022 we were in action before the Rügen island in order to bring out Ghostnets. Ariane Thiele wrote a report about this Weekend.

First ghost net recovery 2022 Off the island of Rügen

2021 we were guests on Rügen in June and October. In the two missions we were able to remove almost 4 tons of ghost nets from the wreck of the Flying Dutchman. Around the island of Rügen there are more than 1500 wrecks and on almost all of them you can find old nets. Already during our first visits we realized that there is a lot of work for us here.
