Rules for our Project Weeks on Rügen
1. Trips and groups
- Prerequisite for the participation in an expedition weekend is the non-terminated membership in the association BSNHPA e.V. or the participation as a member of a cooperation partner of the association.
- You can find the membership application on our website www.bsnhpa.org.
- A group must consist of at least 4 divers. The maximum number of divers depends on the availability of the boats.
- An expedition weekend goes from Friday (arrival 1 day before is recommended) to Sunday (also departure day).
- Diving days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday- with planned 1-2 dives per day.
2. Non-diving days
The Baltic Sea can be very calm, but also very rough. For the safety of the divers, we will not go out in waves higher than 60 cm. The decision is made by the dive leader together with the captain(s) of the boats/ships. As these situations are natural, no refund will be paid for them.
3. Overnight stay & catering
Each expedition participant is responsible for his/her own food and lodging. Self-catering applies in principle. In the evening you can comfortably go out for dinner.
4. Gases
Oxygen and air fillings are included in the price. Any instructions of the filling master must be followed!
For helium everybody has to take care by himself.
5. Costs and refunds
An expedition weekend on Rügen costs 100 EUR, which covers the fuel costs for the boats and the costs for the gases as well as the organization. Each participant has to take care of the arrival and departure by himself. Non-diving guests pay 50 €.
Payment
At the time of booking the expedition price (100 EUR/ reduced for non-divers 50 EUR) has to be paid in full to the account of BSNHPA e.V.. Only with the provision of the amount on the account the weekend is considered booked. The latest date for booking / payment is 8 weeks before the start of the expedition.

5.1 Refunds
5.1.1 No-show
In case of non-arrival or cancellation 6 weeks or more before the expedition, no refund can be paid, as the boat/ship is firmly booked.
5.1.2 Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the expedition
In case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the expedition, 50% of the expedition price (50 EUR / reduced for non-divers 25 EUR) will be refunded. The refund will be made until 6 weeks after the expedition weekend.
5.1.3 Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the start of the expedition week
In case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the start of the expedition, the full price (100 EUR / reduced for non-divers 50 EUR) will be refunded within 14 days.
5.2 Cancellation of the expedition by BSNHPA e.V.
If not enough divers register for an expedition weekend, if the boat/ship is cancelled, or if there are other reasons for BSNHPA e.V. to cancel the expedition, the full price (100 EUR / reduced for non-divers 50 EUR) will be refunded within 14 days.
6. Arrival and departure
Participants have to organize their own arrival and departure. Accommodation can be requested from the organizer.
7. Insurances
Every diver must have an appropriate insurance coverage for a diving expedition. Damages to the own equipment, which occur during the expedition, can not be claimed against BSNHPA e.V..
